2010 Bertani - Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Classico - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

Bertani – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2010 – Lot of 6 Bottles Prestigious lot consisting of 6 bottles of 0.75 L Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2010, one of the most representative labels of the historic Veronese house. The 2010 vintage earned 94/100 points from Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate. It is also a Bertani five-star vintage, confirming the high quality level of the harvest. Bertani describes 2010 as an Amarone characterized by finesse and complexity, with an elegant and austere bearing. On the nose emerge black cherry and wild cherry soaked in spirits, cocoa, cardamom and tobacco, while on the palate it presents a powerful body but not heavy, still-young tannins and notable freshness. The finish is particularly long. Amarone Bertani is made from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, hand-picked and naturally dried on traditional vines. Fermentation takes place slowly and the wine is then aged for many years in large Slavonian oak casks, in keeping with the historic philosophy of the winery. Bottler Bottled at the Winery – Bertani, Grezzana (Verona), Italy. The production of Amarone Classico Bertani is linked to Tenuta Novare, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Wine and winery history Bertani, founded in 1857 in Verona, is one of the historic wineries of Valpolicella and has played a significant role in the development of the traditional style of Amarone. Amarone Classico Bertani is produced according to a strongly traditional philosophy: the grapes are hand-picked and naturally dried in a fruit loft, without using artificial temperature or humidity control systems. Fermentation can last over 50 days and maturation in large Slavonian oak casks lasts at least six years, followed by at least a further year in bottle. For 2010, Bertani notes a long and cold winter, a spring initially difficult and a summer characterized by temperatures slightly below average and abundant rainfall. The strong temperature fluctuations during the final stage of maturation favored excellent sugar accumulation, while intermittent rains during the harvest did not compromise the health of the grapes. Drinking now or keeping To be drunk now or stored further. 2010 is still a wine with great structure and freshness. Bertani highlights its still-young tannins, substantial body and high acidity, elements that support further development in bottle. Bertani’s official sheet also notes that the wine has several years ahead before reaching full expression. It is therefore suitable both for immediate tasting, preferably with a brief decanting, and for long-term cellaring. The 6-bottle lot is particularly interesting for a collector, allowing them to follow the vintage’s evolution over time. It is recommended to store the bottles horizontally, in a dark, cool, vibration-free environment with stable temperature. Shipping method The six bottles will be carefully packed with professional wine-specific packaging, using shock-absorbing protections and individual separators. The shipment will be made via trackable courier, with reinforced packaging designed to minimize the risk of breakage or damage during transport.
