The Salon Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil Brut 2006 is an exceptional Champagne, unusually rich and opulent for the famous maison, while maintaining freshness, energy and a complex mineral structure. Main Features Type: Brut Extra (dosage of 4 g/l), 100% Chardonnay (Grand Cru from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger). Appearance: Bright golden yellow colour with silvery and green reflections, enriched by a very fine and persistent perlage. Scent: Notes of white flowers, acacia, citrus fruits, lemon peel, hints of chalk and incense, then evolving towards shades of dried apricot, hazelnut and toasted brioche. Taste: Rich, wide and structured on the palate, it combines a generous concentration of ripe fruit with a vibrant linear acidity and a marked mineral flavour.
