French 19th-century on-table mirror in mercury-gilded bronze, Louis XV style Description Magnificent French 19th-century on-table mirror, made in mercury-gilded bronze, in the Louis XV/Rocaille style. The structure features rich ornamental decoration composed of volutes, Rocaille, flowers, leaves and vegetal motifs, with abundant pierced elements. Particularly noteworthy is the decorated glass with engraved floral motifs, framed by an elaborated gilded bronze moulding with vegetal decoration. At the top there is an ornamental composition with floral motifs and Rococo-inspired decorative elements. Due to its stylistic and constructive characteristics, it corresponds to French Historicism of the second half of the 19th century, within the Louis XV/Rocaille taste. Dimensions: approximately 50 × 33 × 25 cm. Weight: approximately 3 kg. Material: mercury-gilded bronze and decorated glass. Period: 19th century. Origin: France. Condition: excellent overall condition, preserving a notable presence and ornamental richness, with light signs of age and use appropriate to the period. Shipping: The piece will be carefully packed using appropriate protective materials to ensure safe transport. Given its nature and characteristics, it is advisable to arrange insurance for transit damage. If such insurance is not purchased, the seller is not responsible for possible damages occurring during transport. It is recommended to keep the packaging until it is confirmed that the piece arrived correctly.
