1999 Kawasaki W650 Custom by Deus Ex Machina

This motorcycle was commissioned through renowned international firm Deus Ex Machina, which was founded in Australia and later established workshops around the world. Deus – a force in the modern custom motorcycle movement – drew inspiration from cafe racers, scramblers, bobbers, and traditional competition motorcycles. This W650-based build was extensively modified to create a distinctively vintage appearance and uses Kawasaki’s air-cooled parallel-twin as its foundation. The specification includes a frame conversion for a clean and minimal silhouette, front-brake conversion, and a Triumph fuel tank for authentic character. This custom W650, with its Kawasaki powertrain and purposeful retro architecture, is a compelling example from one of the most influential custom motorcycle firms in the contemporary genre. *Please note that the lots offered in the Billy Joel Collection have been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational. They will require mechanical attention prior to use. car
