This lot consists of 6 bottles of Rafael Bravo “Favourite Cuvée” Cava Gran Reserva Brut Nature, from the 1988 vintage. According to the producer’s label, these bottles remained in the cellar for 36 years in contact with the wine and yeasts. The producer states that the original metal crown cap was replaced with the current definitive cork closure during disgorgement. The wine was disgorged without the addition of expedition liqueur, preserving the character of a Brut Nature. Appearance The accompanying glass photograph shows the wine with a clear amber-golden colour and visible fine, persistent bubbles, demonstrating that the wine retains noticeable effervescence after its exceptionally long ageing period.
