In 1978, Bultaco unveiled the Pursang Mk12. A frenetic pace of production was essential in motocross to keep up with developments. This model was revolutionary: it was the first to feature a valve-controlled engine manufactured in Spain, a technology that remains extremely widespread today. Delivering 38.8 chevaux in the 250 cc version and up to 43 chevaux in the 370 cc version, the Mk12 is fitted with a five-speed gearbox and gas-charged shock absorbers.
