Magnificent vintage jewellery box dating from approximately the 1950s, crafted from beautifully polished natural onyx and embellished with gilt brass fittings and four finely detailed lion paw feet. An exceptionally decorative piece, distinguished by the spectacular natural patterns of its stone, displaying an extraordinary combination of translucent sage green, ivory, soft pink, warm terracotta and deep reddish-brown veins.
