1935-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. CMQ.

1935-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. CMQ. Brilliant apart from wisps of pale champagne-gold iridescence, a full quota of smooth mint luster dominates the in-hand appearance of this lovely Gem Mint State example. A hint of softness to the high points is very common for the issue, but otherwise we note sharp to full strike detail. After only the 1934-S, the 1935-S is the rarest middle date (1934 to 1940) Walking Liberty half dollar. With most Mint State survivors confined to lower grades due to poor strike quality and/or noticeably abraded surfaces, this premium PCGS MS-66 with CAC approval is sure to appeal to specialists in this popular 20th century series. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 6597. NGC ID: 24RL. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
