1935-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS).

1935-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). Brilliant, beautiful, and above average in striking sharpness. A lovely example of this Denver Mint issue. Forming a collection of middle and late date Walking Liberty half dollars at the Gem Mint State level is a challenge that can be met with some patience. All varieties from 1933-S to 1947-D are available, with none being priced out of sight. However, beginning significantly with 1940-S, and continuing through a number of later issues, many are not sharply struck. If you add superior strike detail to your requirements, get set for an extended but very pleasant numismatic journey in the search. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 6596. NGC ID: 24RK. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
