18k gold (750e) cross pendant topped with a knot, featuring openwork scrollwork, adorned with table-cut emeralds in clos-set settings on prongs, supporting three teardrop-shaped emeralds in a pendant. It is accompanied by an 18k gold (750e) chain with oval links that are partially twisted, and a ball clasp with a ratchet mechanism featuring scale motifs. (some tin soldering, added pendants, restorations) The pendant is likely an 18th-century Spanish or Portuguese piece, while the necklace is a 19th-century French piece. Gross weight: 21.60 g.
