1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. AU Details--Corrosion Removed (PCGS).

1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. AU Details--Corrosion Removed (PCGS). A sharply struck example that is virtually Mint State coin in terms of details, the strike razor sharp to dull throughout. Virtually brilliant, as well, with considerable frosty luster retained. Faint hairlines and some muting to the finish point to what appears to have been an attempt at numismatic conservation to improve the overall aesthetic of this key date CC-Mint Morgan dollar. The work was fairly well executed, as there is plenty of visual appeal to tempt the budget-minded Morgan dollar and/or Carson City Mint enthusiast. Provenance: From the Grossman Collection. PCGS# 7190. NGC ID: 2559. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
