1856-1883 Classic Period 1856, ½r. black on greyish blue paper, proofs in a strip of five surrounded by enormous margins, strong impression of the design. Some minor and faint tone spots and a vertical crease confined to the right margin, of no significance for this extremely rare exhibition item, of which only three are recorded.
