1815 Hartford Convention Pamphlet, Signed Charles Hosmer (American, 1785-1871). "The proceedings of a convention of delegates, from the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode-Island; the counties of Cheshire and Grafton, in the state of New-Hampshire; and the county of Windham, in the state of Vermont; - Convened at Hartford, in the state of Connecticut, December 15th, 1814." Proceedings of the convention addressing the severe economic impacts of the War of 1812 and opposition to President James Madison’s administration, including discussion of constitutional concerns, possible secession, and the drafting of seven proposed amendments to the United States Constitution.
