all original and completely intact c. 1916 american industrial hubbell keyed socket manufactured by harvey hubbell inc., bridgeport, ct. the two-part socket shell is comprised of brass with some surface patina and is stamped "weber patents / 250 w. 250 v". it contains a bakelite paddle switch which, along with the copper contact inside the socket, features the hubbell globe logo with company name inside longitudinal lines. covered by the brass shell, the porcelain socket cap retains most of the original screws, and is stamped "arrow. e" at top, and "3122" at the bottom. the standard sized socket measures 1 inch in diameter at the opening, and about 2 1/2 inches in height.
