Shallow ice groove and subtle tail carving.Chitwood, in "Connecticut Decoys - Carvers and Gunners" states that Breit " - - made only a small number of black ducks in imitation ofWheeler" and that "Breits birds are handsome (since) he followed Wheeler's pattern closely".
