M-125 Lot of 2 British WWII Ordnance related items: (1) British decommissioned small-type free floating mine. The spherical-shaped object resembles the MK-1 mine, but in size only as it has a 10" diameter and is painted a camo green as opposed to the typical black. Weight 21.4 pounds. Developed in 1939 this type mine was released into the Rhine, the Moselle and Meuse Rivers with the intent to disrupt German waterway traffic and destroy bridges. The politics in France delayed the implementation of the British plan until eventually floating mines were used in an attempt to disrupt the German economy. Marked "661-8429" and "GcLS Lo A5034". (2) 1943 Mark 7 Naval portable one-half ton bomb hoist. Marked "800177-2". Weight 35 pounds. About II
